    Sahil Mungar is the Head of Marketing at FNB Digital Banking. Within Digital Banking, he manages the marketing for the digital channels, taking new and existing products to market, strategic marketing, marketing strategy and social media relations between the digital channels and customers. Sahil Mungar is currently holds an MBA from Wits Business School, a BSc(Eng) from the University of Kwazulu Natal and is to complete a MEng degree from the University of Pretoria. He began his career as a Project Engineer at Telkom SA Ltd in 2006. His passion for technology and mobile services in particular led him to join FNB in 2009. Sahil is in his 30s, unmarried and enjoys reading, playing golf, academia and cars. He comes from a small community in Durban and has grown from modest upbringings to his career in banking and technology. He believes in education as a means to achieve one’s goals and wishes to spread the passion of education to the youth of South Africa.

    Heather has been in banking for 20 years, covering various roles through the branch network, within retail banking and business banking. She spent 7 years in a new business development role within the mid corporate commercial market and received 7 incentive awards over the 7 years she was there, and accumulated a robust understanding of all transactional and credit products. Heather was then approached to start up the Enterprise Development business unit within FNB Business. Heather was responsible for the conceptualisation and establishment of the Vumela Enterprise Development Fund, the first of its kind in the market. The Vumela Enterprise Development Fund is an early stage equity fund to assist growth in the SME sector and subsequent job creation. Heather and her team won an Innovation Award for their work in Vumela. Vumela is capitalised by FirstRand, and Heather continues to manage the fund (which now has committed capital of close to R400m). Heather was selected as 1 of 30 women from all the banking groups nationally in SA to participate in the first Bankseta Womens’ Development Programme and holds a Diploma in Technology and Innovation from the Da Vinci Institute. Heather also assists with other pure FNB SME related initiatives outside of Vumela in her role as Head of Enterprise Development.

This is fast being evident in the multitude of educational efforts being executed by this team Aneesa is responsible for strategically and optimally positioning FNB Investments in the market and within FNB.
