    Aneesa is a senior executive and a visionary leader in the South African banking industry and enjoys working with imagination, insight, and boldness. She excels in challenges that calls forth the best in people and brings them together around a shared sense of purpose. With her eyes on the horizon, not just on the near at hand, Aneesa is a social innovator and change agent, always seeing the big picture and thinking strategically. With a background in insurance, banking and asset management, Aneesa joined FNB in 2007, during her time with FNB, she has walked the colourful streets of Africa as well as the heart moving underbelly of incredible India, solving for both individual and business customer needs across the income spectrum, searching for solutions that transcend the usual adversarial approaches. In 2015 she joined FNB Investments and was appointed as CEO of FNB Share Investing in August 2016. She is passionate about making Share Investing easy and assessable to the “average consumer” and not just an exclusive few. This is fast being evident in the multitude of educational efforts being executed by this team Aneesa is responsible for strategically and optimally positioning FNB Investments in the market and within FNB. She oversees a number of teams, which include strategic research and analytics; new product development; collaboration; as well as marketing and client experience, that help connect and simplify savings and investments for customers and ultimately improve the delivery of products.

    Yolande Steyn has recently taken on the role of FNB Innovation, Head. Previously, she headed up FNB eWallet Solutions, which was launched in 2009. She joined FNB in 2004 and was part of the original Cellphone Banking team that revolutionised mobile banking in South Africa. Her role included product development, strategic project management and the role-out of mobile banking in FNB’s African subsidiaries. As a qualified Industrial Engineer, Yolande has worked in consulting, mobile telecoms, software development, mobile money and now Innovation. She also holds a Masters in Business Administration from UCT, Graduate School of Business.
