    Fran Laenen designs and runs leadership and business skills training programmes for young talent at FNB, including the Graduate Training and Development Programme. She completed her Honours in Organisational Psychology at the University of Cape Town, also majoring in French (just for fun). She has spent four years recruiting, interviewing and placing final-year students for the FNB Graduate Programme. Now she focuses on helping new graduates transition to the world of banking and on helping young talented people grow their potential to lead successful careers within the business. Fran is passionate about learning, education and social development, as well as good literature and a good argument. She is a self-identified foodie, aspiring writer, cyclist and runner, lover of the performing arts and of the great outdoors.

    Luise Allemann is a seasoned journalist and editor with 18 years experience in a range of diverse editorial environments including news reporting for Independent Newspapers in Durban and the award-winning Engineering News and Mining Weekly. This was followed by a five year tenure at Marketing Mix culminating in her appointment as editor which saw her overseeing a team of journalists as well as the print and business aspects of the magazine.     Ewald acquired the degree Bachelors in Financial Management from the University of South Africa. He started his career in banking in 2001 and moved to FNB in 2003, where he has since been part of the bank’s Home Loans division. He focused mainly on credit and pricing, played an integral role in the issuing of Securitisation vehicles, and developed the first Automated Valuation Model in FNB Home Loans. In 2009, he established the Property and Market Analytics division which focuses on giving the bank the in-depth understanding of the SA Property Market required for its strategic planning. Here he jointly developed the FNB House Price Index and various other statistical publications which is widely published and used in the industry. In 2011, he formed the Property Group, which includes FNB Valuations, Properties in Possession, Real Estate Distribution and Property Market Analytics divisions where he focused on promoting the use of property information to develop new products and differentiation strategies. In 2012 he absorbed additional responsibilities and currently head up Sales for FNB Home Loans where as at mid-2013 has grown to the largest residential mortgage lender in the segment.
