    Farren Roper is the Head of FNB Connect ISP and Business Operations. Within FNB Connect, Farren manages the business environment and team. He is responsible for amongst other things, business case development, taking new and existing products to market, customer experience, the contact centre, strategic marketing and digital strategy. He is an EXCO member at FNB Connect and has been there since its inception. It takes a unique individual to run the FNB Connect business team, which operates in both Banking and Telecommunications regulatory frameworks. Farren brings his passion, expertise and zeal to FNB Connect and has contributed considerably to FNB Connect’s growth. Farren Roper is currently studying towards a PHD in technology innovation and holds multiple degrees and qualifications, which include: a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from UNISA that he obtained in 2010, a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Economics and LLB degree, which he obtained from the University of Johannesburg in 2001 and 2003 respectively. He subsequently obtained a qualification on Brand Building from the Vega School of Branding. Farren is in his 30s, unmarried and enjoys reading, writing poetry, blogging on occasion, playing tennis and the arts. Having grown up in a township in his early years, he is passionate about youth education and time on weekends apportioned between personal interests and supporting a township children’s charity.     Garreth graduated from the University of Witwatersrand with a B.Comm Law and Risk Management degree. He then went on to gain a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from the Wits Business School and currently he is studying BSC Computer Science through UNISA. He began working at FNB Online at the beginning of 2012 as a risk analyst. His current responsibilities include reviewing and upgrading of transactional fraud detection systems to be in line with the highest international standards. Garreth designs risk reduction projects and drives them from concept to implementation. He also monitors and reviews all projects involving FNB Online in order to mitigate any risk that may be present.
