    Mike Vacy-Lyle, CEO of Commercial Banking, studied at University of KwaZulu Natal and completed his training to be a Chartered Accountant at an auditing firm in Durban. After qualifying, Mike spent a few years in London and then joined FNB in 2001 as the Executive Assistant to Theunie Lategan, the CEO of FNB Corporate. During this time Mike focused on distressed debt, in particular the restructuring of exposures to distressed listed companies. FNB Commercial was created in 2005 and Mike joined the new Exco as the Chief Financial Officer before becoming Head of Sales. Having spent time in credit, finance and finally sales Mike took on the role of CEO in 2010.
